Dear Family and Friends,
It is time to say goodbye to the year 2017 with all of its joys and sorrows and welcome in the New Year. 2017 will always be a part of our lives but it is time to add something new. God has declared the year “2018” to be the year of Freedom.
We believe that God wants to give us something great in the year 2018. This year New Image Ministries is also celebrating our 30th year in ministry. The founding verse for New Image Ministries is 2 Corinthians 3:18 “…changed from glory to glory by the spirit of the Lord.”
However, in the preceding verse we are told that the spirit of the Lord also brings us Freedom. The freedom that God gives us is what empowers our change. Freedom is the catalyst for change. The spirit of the Lord will break every chain that binds us to our old life and bring us into something new.
What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? What is the new thing that God wants to do in the world through you?? Freedom will allow you go places where you have never gone before and do things that you have never done before.
Freedom will speak to you and guide you. As we walk out of our old life, freedom will be the voice behind you to guide you to the right and to the left, saying “This is the way; walk in it.”
Come join us for our New Year’s Eve Service, Sunday, Dec. 31st at 9:30 PM. Let us seek God’s face for the New Year and hear His voice speak to us and guide us as we enter into this year of Freedom. We will have food and fellowship after service and we will ring in the New Year together.
