Good morning, all!

Father, we pray You would continue to reveal Your true nature and character to us Lord. That we would be no more be confused or lost, that we would see You as You truly are and that we would know Your will for our life. Father, Your prayer was that we would be One so make it so Lord, don’t let feelings, logic or ignorance stand in the way any longer. Let Your love and light shine on the world today and unite us in Your faith, Amen.

Romans 12

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Don’t be a copycat and parrot what religion has spoken for years but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think about God and faith. Then you will live in the perfect will of God knowing His love.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Let me tell you about the grace God gave me and EVERY man among you, don’t think you’re better than anyone else be sober minded and not influenced by pride or ego, for God Himself has also given EVERY man THE measure of faith…I guess God really does love the WORLD…I mean we ALL get grace and faith and we didn’t have to work to get it.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
And since we all have faith, WE have MANY members in ONE body, and ALL members have NOT the same purpose but the same goal:

5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
So, WE being MANY are ONE body in Christ, and EVERY one members of one another…hmm sounds like Christ is more than one person.

Bottom line

So how can the MANY be one in Christ? it’s an oxymoron, right?

[Rom 8:11 NLT] The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. I must admit this has been a mystery to me since I was a little kid growing up in church, the SAME spirit that raised Jesus out of that tomb dwells in US…Wow! So, what’s the difference between you and Jesus in life? NOTHING…that is the point of this verse. Now you absolutely have to think differently than what you grew up hearing in church, right? Scripture says God GAVE…translation…we didn’t ask…did any of us ask our parents to be born? God gave EVERY man both grace and faith and notice it doesn’t say “A measure of faith” is says “THE measure of faith”…singular, there is only ONE measure.

[Eph 4:7KJV] But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. There is only one measure it is the spirit of Christ in all mankind. I love that God called it a GIFT. If we are all children of God, then wouldn’t it make sense that God would give us all the same gift? I didn’t buy just one child a car, all 3 of my children received the gift of their first car. I mean if I can love like that, can’t God do the same?

[Col 3:11 KJV] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all. This is one of my favorite verses in the bible, it destroys a lot of religious teachings, it destroys a little God that condemns people based on ideology or beliefs or ethnicity or any orientation for that matter. Christ is ALL…our true relationship with God and His universal love that has NO bias or prejudice decided all on His own in His infinite wisdom to birth the spirit of Christ in ALL, let me say again in ALL!!! I love having a bigger God than the religious one that condemns some, don’t you? Who shrunk God? Religion, the world, pride, ego, the letter…didn’t He say the letter of the law kills…condemns people but the spirit GIVES life. Can we see God’s word through the eyes of His spirit versus the black and white print on a page? Now you might still be THINKING Jesus is better than you? What if I told you that’s old thinking that robs you of your true identity?

[Phl 2:5-6 KJV] 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Let this mind be IN you…think like Christ…my true identity…it’s NOT robbery to be EQUAL with God NOT greater. Equal…being the same in nature, value or ability. Now we definitely need to TRANSFORM our thinking for us to live in the perfect will of God. We have trouble because of old thinking or perhaps because God is unseen, we struggle because reason and logic scream in our head something different, but FAITH says otherwise. What if I describe it like this, my father was a Porzio, so I am a Porzio, we are the SAME and whatever he has I have and vice versa. If my son told me he was a Porzio SAME as me, do you think I would be offended? The opposite I would smile and say that’s my boy, now picture God doing that with you. I don’t think that’s robbery, I think that’s called FAMILY. What if that’s what God truly wants? What if that is His will? A family, a family to love and provide for, one to laugh and cry with, one to celebrate with and one to give His inheritance to? I pray we all see a much bigger and a much more loving God, one that far exceeds the boundaries of our reason and logic, exceeds our religion and exceeds all our egos, one that says there goes My Kid!

Point to Ponder

Are we family? [Eph 3:15 KJV] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. There’s only ONE family, quit tearing it apart.
