Good morning, all!
Father, we pray that You would increase our trust in Your love, to know that You will only do that which is just and right in our life. Lord, we know there’s confusion and unsettling matters in the world today so we pray that you would reveal the power of heaven so that we could come and see your glory. Thank You Lord for loving us and caring for us, may we feel Your warmth today, Amen.
Revelation 6
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
John saw in the spirit the Lamb open the first seal and it was like thunder and the beast said Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
And when John looked, he saw a white horse and He that sat on the horse was holding a rainbow and a crown and He went forth to win battles for us.
4 And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
And when he opened the 2nd seal there was a red horse and he had power to take peace from the earth and they killed one another with a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
And when He opened the 3rd seal He said again Come and see and it was a black horse, and the rider had a scale in His hands to measure.
8 And I looked and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
And when He opened the 4th seal there was a pale horse and death sat on him and hell followed. He had power over a 4th of the earth to kill with sword, famine, death and beasts of the earth.
Bottom line
The Apocalypse that already took place and we didn’t know it! This is perhaps the most famous chapter dealing with the final judgment, also known as the four horses of the apocalypse. And when?
He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water. Kind of hard for us to be WAITING for judgment if John declared it already happened over 2,000 years ago…the hour has COME, what hour?
[Mat 26:45 NIV] Then Jesus returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. The hour has come, it was Calvary the final judgment. Can there be anything more apocalyptic than the Son of God being crucified on the cross? Let me try and break this down for you as simply as possible. The color of the horse indicates the problem, however, the answer to the problem is also in the hands of the rider. The rider on the beast of war is Jesus Christ himself, he has defeated all of our enemies also known as the lies we believe (remember the serpent speaks lies). The White Horse is a picture of self- righteousness, it’s when you and I think we have to work for our righteousness, or we believe we are better than others because we have not done the things they’ve done. The Bow and the crown is speaking of the rainbow which was God’s promises that He would save mankind from destruction…sin.
[Rom 6:18 NIV] You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. And there you have it, we are all FREE from sin and we should be slaves to righteousness…meaning we are ALL owned by righteousness. The red horse is strife and us fighting with each other because we don’t have our crown on.
[1Co 3:3 NLT] For you are still controlled by your carnal nature. You are jealous of one another and fight with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world? We need a great sword to separate us from the world so we can live by the rules of heaven. The black horse is ignorance and sin, we need a scale in our hands instead.
[John 1:29 NIV] The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Either Jesus took away the sin of the WORLD or He didn’t, guess it just depends on if you believe in the power of Calvary. The scales should remain balanced, one side holds truth and the other mercy…you need both to overcome sin…makes sense, on the Cross Jesus did say Father forgive them for they know NOT…ignorance. And the pale horse seems to have trouble with only the 4th part of the earth the rest seems okay, however, the pale horse is sick and in need of a healing. What is the greatest commandment? To love God with all your 1-heart, 2-mind, 3-body and 4-strength…again the pale horse has NO issue with ¾ but the 4th that is the problem.
[Jer 2:33 NKJV] Why do you beautify your way to seek love? Therefore, you have also taught The wicked women your ways. That’s right God has everything but our HEART, that we use to seek love, to become fulfilled because we’re empty and unsatisfied…we have NO peace or joy. So how do we get rid of the sick horse?
[Psa 69:32 KJV] 32 The humble shall see [this, and] be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God first. No other way to be healed, to be filled unless we seek God FIRST…everything else in life will fall into place.
Point to Ponder
The angel said four times Come and See? [Mat 28:6 KJV] The angel said, he is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Come and see, the final judgment on sin and death…Jesus conquered the grave.
