Good morning, all!

Father, when we face storms in life there’s nothing, we desire more than Your presence and Your mighty hand. We pray that we feel the warmth of Your love and the comfort of Your peace, we know there’s divine purpose which You have predestined before we took our first breath. Help us Lord to seek You first and teach us to wait on You, even when we don’t understand, Amen.

Nahum 1

3 The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet.
The Lord is above it all, He sees all but He doesn’t get angry, He does what He has planned to do which is to use the storms of life to remove the wicked.

4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
The storm winds blow in and dry the rivers in Bashan (pride) and Carmel (arrogance) and the flower of Lebanon (self-righteous) will fade.

5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
The mountains (strong ideas) are shaken and the hills (heart) melt and the earth is burned (reason and logic) at His presence, yea the world and ALL that live there.

15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
But when all is said and done, our feet (lifestyle) has GOOD things to say and it produces PEACE, keep the feasts and perform the vows for the wicked is gone forever.

Bottom line

The Lord had His way in a WHIRLWIND?

[Job 38:1 KJV] Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, hmm…the whirlwind gave Job the answer he was looking for as to why he went through all that he suffered, so what was the answer?

[Job 42:5 NLT] I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. The whole world has heard about God, the question to answer is have you seen Him with your OWN eyes? You see it’s one thing to know about God but it’s a completely different story when you actually have a personal experience with God, and you start to see Him. You know how we SEE God?

[Mat 5:8 KJV] Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God. It takes a pure heart NOT a pure head to see God, it’ takes a loving heart NOT a crowded mind to see God in our life. We all have things crowding out our path to seeing God, He brings a whirlwind to remove the obstacle so we can SEE Him in TRUTH. What’s the obstacle?

[Pro 10:25 KJV] As the whirlwind passeth, so [is] the wicked no [more]: but the righteous [is] an everlasting foundation. The wicked gets removed but the righteous are a foundation that will never be taken or broken, is that your foundation? It’s the FOOL that built his house upon that sand, the storm came, and he lost everything but the wise built it on a rock…righteousness. The bible says we are NOT to walk the way of the wicked, the fool, we are to walk righteously and when we do, we can see God. So, what does scripture consider a righteous walk?

[Isa 33:15] He who walks righteously and speaks with integrity, Who rejects gain from fraud and from the oppression of others, Who shakes his hand free from the taking of bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing blood and shuts his eyes from seeing evil. The RIGHTEOUS here are defined by what they DON’T do, they don’t look to hurt others for their own benefit, they can’t be manipulated by the world, they STOP the ears from hearing blood…they’re not cruel…they STOP their eyes from seeing evil…they don’t condemn others. The wicked and the fool are one in the same, scripture says the fool hath said in his heart there is NO God. Their head might acknowledge God but they’re heart is too busy being manipulated by the world, they’re too busy hearing blood and seeing evil to walk righteously. But not to worry, when the Lord brings the whirlwind, He will rebuke and dry up your sea because it’s the root cause to our problems. [Isa 57:20 NIV] But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. Our wicked thoughts are just like a raging sea, and it kicks up dirt and mud on everybody, kind of hard-to-find peace when you’re a raging sea…guess that’s why God dries it up. Once God removes our wicked thinking, we can go up the mountain and bring good news, we publish PEACE, keep the FEASTS and perform His VOWS. The first order of business in the kingdom of God is to establish peace NOT division, what do you consider good news? Strife? Envy? Hate? Jealousy? That’s the way of the wicked, James warns us against that type of behavior.

[Jas 3:16 AMP] For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder [unrest, rebellion] and every wicked thing and morally degrading practice. God said the world was without form and void, but He gave us a beautiful garden to replenish it, and we get to choose what shape each day takes and what we’re going to fill it with…choose righteousness and peace today, anything less will leave you naked, afraid and hidden from God.

You want a better life? [Psa 63:3 KJV] Because thy lovingkindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Try love and kindness, it always makes for a better day!
