Good morning, all!

Father, we know that You are the Giver of all things, the giver of life itself. Help us Lord to know this life, to live this life you’ve planned for us. I pray Lord that we will be filled with Your anointing today and we would no longer live with that void in us, the one that steals from us so that we might have something to give instead, Amen. Have you ever had something stolen from you? Ever feel that void?

John 10

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
Jesus used a story to share a spiritual truth: but the people did NOT understand what He was really saying.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
So Jesus repeated Himself, you must truly believe these words, I AM the DOOR of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
ALL that were before ME are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did NOT hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
I am the DOOR: by Me if ANY man enter in, he shall be saved and go in and out and find a beautiful life.

Bottom line

We all learned this one when we were kids in Sunday School, right? What is the Door the sheep use?

[Act 14:27 NLT] Upon arriving in Antioch, they called the church together and reported everything God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles, too. Yea it’s a life of FAITH but you do have to walk through the door…it’s when you BELIEVE and trust God. So, what is the opposite of faith?

[Rom 1:25 NIV] They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator. The opposite of faith is a LIE also known as the thief and robber, one steals in silence and the other in broad daylight for others to see. Think about it, if the Lamb of God took away the sin of the world why is there still guilt and condemnation? Guilt is the thief in me that steals my peace, my joy, my salvation, and the robber is when I steal it from others because I see their sin instead of the DOOR. And the truth is when we accept those thoughts and feelings, they are nothing more than thieves and robbers in our life and the real problem comes when we accept the lie.

Jer 23:14 NIV] And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that not one of them turns from their wickedness. We commit adultery when we live a lie because we are unfaithful to God, we’re unfaithful to the Cross, the lie has more influence in our life than God…we commit adultery. You know what’s the biggest lie? One so subtle we usually don’t see it coming. Pride.

[Psa 10:4 NIV] In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. Pride leaves NO room for God in my life, it leaves NO room for love and forgiveness. Have you ever thought you can’t love someone? Forgive someone? If we’re honest most of us have felt that way at some point in our life, but that is the thief and sheep DON’T listen to that lie. This is when we walk through the door of faith and leave the offense behind us before we let thoughts creep in and cause us to SEE sin rather than HEAR God. Think about it, if you have room for God in your life what might you HEAR Him say today? Hold your grudge and stand your ground? Or hey you know the name of my throne is called MERCY, why do you try it and use some? We have to quit listening to the thieves and robbers in our head, all they do is TAKE and never GIVE. For God so loved the WORLD He GAVE…let’s all be givers and NOT takers.

Point to Ponder

What is truth? [Psa 85:10 KJV] Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other]. If your truth hasn’t been introduced to forgiveness then it’s nothing more than a thief and a robber, let them steal NO more.
