Good morning all!
Father, we know all time is in Your hands, and it has NO influence on Your plans for us. We pray that for a new word, a new promise that would truly set us free from any worry and doubt. Let Your hope be made known today and allow Your children to dance with joy, Amen.
Jeremiah 31
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, [and] with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return together.
Look, God we bring all those that have lost their way, from the North and from islands, He will NOT leave any behind, those that can’t walk or can’t see even those with lil children.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim [is] my firstborn.
They will have a change of heart, I will cause them to walk by the rivers of mercy, they will be refreshed and NOT stumble for I am their father and they are MY firstborn.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare [it] in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd [doth] his flock.
Hear what the Lord is saying, O ye NATIONS and let those that are in a distant place know, He that scattered will gather and keep him just like a shepherd with his flock.
11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of [him that was] stronger than he.
The Lord will redeem and ransom him from the hand of the one that was stronger than you.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Then shall the virgin rejoice and dance, both old and young for I will TURN their sadness into joy and comfort them and remove their sorrow.
Bottom line
There are so many promises from God in this short passage of scripture. It begins with God gathering everyone from all over the world, He calls it a GREAT company. God includes those that might have trouble finding their way back, the lame and the blind but God will NOT leave anyone behind. Who are the lame and who are the blind? The lame are those that don’t believe in forgiveness and the blind are those that live their life based on what they see…also known as the lust of the eyes, they don’t live by faith. Remember faith is the substance of that which is hoped for but the evidence NOT seen…translation…faith says I don’t see the evidence to convict because the Redeemer has cleared us of all charges…the passage does say we’ve been redeemed. God has redeemed and ransomed US, from who? The HAND of the one stronger than us. Who is the one stronger than us? Who can’t we beat?
[Gen 25:23 KJV] And the LORD said unto her, Two nations [are] in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and the elder shall serve the younger. You and I have 2 nations…2 natures and one is stronger than the other. Remember Jacob had a twin brother, Esau was the older brother and he was stronger than Jacob…Jacob couldn’t beat him, not physically but spiritually. Esau represents a nature and character that’s impulsive, jealous, irrational, a bit of a cry baby that says life’s NOT fair. Worst of all he is the captor within us, he is the exact opposite of the nature and character of Christ…which is represented in Jacob. You know what holds us captive like a prisoner needing to be redeemed?
[Gen 27:41 NIV] Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, “The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob. Esau is the ego of man, it holds a GRUDGE against people and looks for revenge. The enemy within us too strong for us to defeat, we need a savior to come and set us free from that kind of thinking, that way of life. Why?
[Heb 12:17 KJV] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Esau never sees himself as the problem, he cries and expects everyone else around him to change because his ego says I FOUND NO PLACE in my life that needs to change. In that state of mind we are held captive, we are prisoners to a lifestyle that knows NO peace. We are just like that island which is FAR off, we are FAR off from faith, FAR off from God…BUT there is a Shepherd and He is coming for His lost sheep. You and I may wander just like sheep and we find ourselves FAR off in our thinking but the Shepherd, the owner of the sheep will NOT sleep until ALL are counted in to His fold. You know why?
[1Co 7:23 NIV] You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings. God has paid the price for you and I and He will NOT allow us to have a slave mentality, to live without peace and joy. You know what happens once we’re rescued? Set free? Scripture says He turns our mourning into joy and the chains around our ankles are broken and we DANCE!!!
Point to Ponder
What time is it? [Ecc 3:4 NIV] 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. I think it’s time church, time to laugh and time to dance…owe no man nothing!!
Let’s all dance, In Him Phil
