Good morning, all!

Father, You are forever faithful; it reaches to the skies far beyond our understanding. Help us Lord to always trust Your love, help us to run this race with passion and conviction so that we would bring You honor and glory. Renew our spirit this day and give us the strength, so we would run and not be weary, to walk and not faint, Amen.

Isaiah 1

2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
God calls heaven and earth to be a witness in His court, I raised Israel and provided for them as a father, and they have turned their back on Me.

3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: [but] Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
The beast of the field know the hand that feeds them, But Israel has forgotten they don’t consider Me anymore…

4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
They continue in their sin and have corrupted their call, they have forsaken the life that I have called them to live, they have provoked by going backwards instead of returning to Me.

5 Why should ye be stricken anymore? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
Why would you live with this brokenness? You withdraw further and further, your thinking is wrong and your heart is weak.

Bottom line

I think we can all relate to this passage; God is always looking for relationship, He said he hates the one that sows division. He didn’t create us just so He could sit alone and have His children ignore Him, He said let there be light, and nothing lights up a room better than when your child walks in it with a smile on their face. I guess it’s easy to get bogged down with life and forget the One who holds the world together, but Israel not only forgot they actually went backwards, they forgot their TRUE purpose and were living a life that would eventually cause them pain and sorrow. This is what God is dealing with, He tells them your head ain’t right and your heart is weak. So, what’s causing the sickness?

[Isa 1:22 AMP] Your silver has turned to lead, your wine is diluted with water. I’m sure you know by now the silver and wine represent our divine nature…God said He placed His spirit inside of us…silver is forgiveness but our head is sick we have turned it into LEAD, we have turned our forgiveness into a LEAD balloon, NOT much hope we’re going to see it rise because we’re NOT going to give it. And the wine is a picture of love, scripture says His love is better than wine, but we have mixed WATER in ours, it’s what you think. It’s watered down, it’s NOT pure, we have placed conditions on our love and when folks don’t meet those conditions they lose our love. We have become as sinful nation because we have corrupted the spirit of God, we have been given His spirit to move forward NOT backwards. We go back to our old life, the one Jesus set us free from on Calvary. What more do you want Him to do? Come back and be crucified again?

[Heb 6:6 NLT] And who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame. When we don’t forgive, it’s like nailing Jesus back on the cross, you see His death but NOT His resurrection…the new life that has defeated sin and death. The sin is holding a grudge and not forgiving, and death is a picture of the heart because it refuses to love. I mean why did God place His spirit in us in the first place? Was it not so we could live and love just like Him? Isaiah says we have become CHILDREN that are corrupters, we’re IMMATURE when we don’t forgive, we have taken a step backwards from the nature and character of Jesus Christ.

[2Pe 1:4 NLT] And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. God has enabled you to ESCAPE the world’s corruption, the world doesn’t forgive it holds a grudge, the world doesn’t love like Jesus it has conditions. So, what’s the answer?

[Gal 6:9 NLT] So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. It’s simple really, don’t GIVE UP on people…we move forward and keep loving them, don’t mix water in your wine…keep it pure!

Are you a winner? [1Co 13:8 NKJV] Love never fails. But whether [there are] prophecies, they will fail; whether [there are] tongues, they will cease; whether [there is] knowledge, it will vanish away. I pray you lose all your religion if it keeps you from loving others, it’s the only way you get the WIN!!!
